The NIJ Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Advisory Council (LECTAC) reviewed 160 High Priority Needs from 17 NIJ Technical Working Groups, narrowed those down to the top 53, prioritized them into the top 23 and ultimately identified the top 10 Technology Needs of equal importance.
