Partners

The ECTCoE staff works with the National Institute of Justice Office of Science & Technology Electronic Crime Portfolio as well as colleagues in law enforcement, academia and the private sector to provide state and local law enforcement with the electronic crime and digital evidence tools, technology and training that they need. We draw on the expertise of our partners to help in developing these capabilities and guiding the direction of ECTCOE projects.

National Institute of Justice

The NIJ Electronic Crime Program enables the criminal justice community to better address electronic crime (involving digital technology, cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism) by building capacity for, and conduits among, Federal, State, and local agencies, industry, and academia.

Alabama District Attorneys Association

The Alabama District Attorneys Association supports the efforts of the District Attorneys of the State of Alabama by taking on conflict cases, processing digital evidence, and assisting with trial exhibits. ADAA attends sub-committee meetings and hearings on all pending bills before the legislature, to support those bills that would benefit law enforcement and fight those bills that would have an adverse effect on law enforcement.

Rhode Island Digital Forensics Center

The University of Rhode Island Digital Forensics Center provides research, tools, law enforcement consulting, and training in digital forensics.

WetStone Technologies

WetStone Technologies provides digital forensics tools and technical guidance to the NIJ Electronic Crime Technical Working Group

International Data Forensics Solution Center

IDFSC offers affordable, comprehensive digital evidence forensic examination training courses specifically designed for law enforcement.

ATC-NY

ATC-NY develops free and low-cost digital forensics software and training for U.S. law enforcement.

BK Forensics

BK Forensics develops cell phone forensic solutions and provides training and investigative support to law enforcement agencies.

Digital Intelligence provides hardware and software tools for digital forensics.

Teel Technologies specializes in providing mobile device forensic solutions and training to law enforcement and the digital forensics community.

MobileForensicsCentral.com is a free search engine and information resource for the mobile forensics community. The website enables examiners to search by a mobile device make, model or picture, and the site will return the tools that support it, and what data can be acquired using the tools.

Des Moines Area Community College

The DMACC crime fighting initiative that is designed to educate students and help law enforcement combat cybercrime and cyberterrorism. The mission of the Electronic Crime Institute is to provide computer safety, security and investigatory training to a variety of learners including law enforcement, private industry, and the general public.
