The Center of Excellence has partnered with International Data Forensic Soluctions Center (IDFSC) to offer training courses free to state and local law enforcement officials:
Law enforcement and the private sector often face technological, logistical and financial challenges in maintaining and expanding their digital evidence examination
skills. IDFSC has developed and identified affordable training solutions through
partnerships with law enforcement, academia and private sector electronic crime and
digital evidence subject matter experts. IDFSC offers comprehensive digital evidence
forensic examination training courses that cover a wide range of topics including data
storage fundamentals, data recovery methodologies and techniques and reporting.
IDFSC training provides detailed understanding of processes that take place in the
course of digital evidence examinations conducted with automated computer forensic
tools and software suites.
The IDFSC staff is comprised of highly qualified instructors with expertise in electronic crime investigation, data recovery, digital evidence forensic examination, cell phone forensic analysis, curriculum development and education. These talented instructors bring years of law enforcement experience, training and expertise in Electronic Crime and Digital Evidence Examination to our training courses. We strive to provide affordable, high quality training that meets the needs of both law enforcement and private sector investigators and examiners.
